Content Moderator

Description
Were looking for a Philippines-based Content Moderator who will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of all user-generated content on the companys platforms.

This includes reviewing, classifying, and removing inappropriate content in a timely and accurate manner.
Key Responsibilities

• Review and moderate user-generated content for violations of community guidelines and company policies
• Classify content into appropriate categories, flagging or removing content as necessary
• Respond to user reports of inappropriate content and take appropriate action
• Maintain accurate records of content moderation decisions and actions taken
• Stay current on company policies and community guidelines, as well as industry best practices for content moderation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as legal and product, to develop and improve moderation processes
• Provide feedback to content creators to help improve the quality of user-generated content

Metrics:

• Accuracy of content moderation decisions (95% or higher)
• Time to review and moderate content (less than 24 hours)
• User satisfaction with moderation decisions (85% or higher)
• Feedback from cross-functional teams on the effectiveness of moderation processes

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Based and authorized to work in the Philippines without the need for a work permit or visa sponsorship
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to make sound judgment calls
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Familiarity with internet culture and current events
• Fluency in English and a high level of proficiency in Tagalog
• Previous experience in content moderation or a related field is a plus
