Monitor patent deadlines and schedule; Assist in the daily operations of the patent team; Assist in conducting patent search and FTO analysis;...

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor patent deadlines and schedule;
  • Assist in the daily operations of the patent team;
  • Assist in conducting patent search and FTO analysis;
  • Assist in conducting status checks of patent applications;
  • Assist in addressing general patent queries and prosecution concerns;
  • Assist in processing online filings with the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHIL) for:
    • new patent applications
    • response to office actions
    • annuities
    • other submissions
  • Assist in transmitting and monitoring IPOPHIL communications;
  • Request IPOPHIL filing fees;
  • Perform other jobs in the department that may be assigned.

Requirements:
  • Graduate of Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or other Engineering courses (mechanical, electronics or computer engineering are preferable); a PRC license in Chemistry or Engineering is an advantage
  • At least 3 years of experience in doing patent works, e.g., patent application, prosecution and maintenance
