Business Analyst | Remote

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our team. This role will be responsible for communicating goals and evaluating results as requested. The ideal candidate has a curious mind and enjoys taking a challenging problem, breaking it down into sections, reviewing the information, and asking the right questions. This person must have exceptional people skills as well as creative solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop business dashboards which entails extracting, cleaning, transforming, modelling of raw data, then presenting in an easy-to-digest report.
• Maintain existing dashboards by checking data accuracy and data integrity, and by managing the dashboards repository.
• Manage or assist with software builds which might include API integrations, web development, and other related work.
• Communicate with clients for scoping projects, presenting finished dashboards, providing business insights, and other consulting work required.
• Use strong business acumen, as well as an ability to communicate findings, and analyze vast amounts of data for useful insights from client data and internal dashboards.
• Provide training to team for specific areas in business analysis as needed.
• Conduct Testing to identify and resolve accuracy, bugs, defects, and other potential issues to prepare recommendations for above mentioned issues.
• Ensures that the product is delivered with high quality that meets all clients’ requirements.
• Oversee the development of new databases and monitor existing databases performance and interpreting raw data and turning it into usable feedback and applications.
• Processes the data, performs analysis and report findings.
• Assists in implementation, testing and validating data and software systems.
• Perform and assist in root cause analysis and data analysis of key problem areas.
• Audit data on a regular basis to ensure data integrity and quality.
• Perform data reconciliations to identify data anomalies.
• Escalate data issues needing process re-engineering.
• Assist in preparation of data reports, training materials, business presentations, publications, and other educational materials.
• Create process documents in resolving issues and improving efficiencies in QA.
• Manage ad-hoc projects that can improve existing business intelligence solutions.

Requirements:

• Proven experience of at least 2 years as a Data Specialist / Business Intelligence Analyst.
• Bachelor’s degree related to Business Management or Computer Science.
• Expertise in using Microsoft Power BI and SQL.
• Proficiency with Power Query and DAX language.
• Existing knowledge of basic business concepts.
• Highly analytical and strong problem-solving abilities with tested mathematical ability.
• Knowledge of other business intelligence and data visualization tools is also a plus.
