Provide support to Account Development department in facilitating all Strategic Plan Initiatives targets. Support the Account Development and Senior Account Development Representatives with lead follow-up, Partners dinners, and targeted marketing programs across PPD business units.

Essential Functions:
  • Support activities related to lead follow-up, Partners dinners, and targeted marketing programs across PPD business units. Assist with overall administrative functions of Account Development including weekly team call, direct mail campaigns, CRM database administration, and new account data mining activities from public and for purchase websites.

  • Manage AD Inbox and hotline for leads; triage to appropriate Business Development or Account Development representative, and track activities within CRM database.

  • Facilitate Partners Education Meetings in site selection, site contract execution, menu selection, invitation development and all materials / presentations to be sent to site for meeting. Assist with post-meeting follow-up and reporting on Return on Investment.

Education and Experience:

High / Secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification Technical positions may require a certificate Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to at least 2 years) or equivalent combination of education, training, & experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to collaborate well with others.

  • Ability to rapidly assess a situation for triage purposes.

  • Possess computer skills related to sales automation systems, word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and email.

  • Must have professional communication skills for interactions with clients, both internal and external, via phone and email.

  • Excellent organization skills.

  • Excellent time management skills in prioritizing daily activities and responsibilities.

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

  • Excellent problem solving skills coupled with the ability to apply experience gained to similar situations moving forward.

  • Ability to coordinate information from and follow-up with diverse sources.

  • Ability to work within team environment.

  • Must maintain strict confidentiality relating to client proposals, RFIs and BD processes.

Working Conditions and Environment:
  • Work is performed in an office or clinical environment with exposure to electrical office equipment.

  • Occasional drives to site locations.

  • Potential Occasional travel required.

Physical Requirements:
  • Frequently stationary for 4-6 hours per day.

  • Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists.

  • Occasional mobility required.

  • Occasional crouching, stooping, bending and twisting of upper body and neck.

  • Light to moderate lifting and carrying (or otherwise moves) objects including luggage and laptop computer with a maximum lift of 15-20 lbs.

  • Ability to access and use a variety of computer software developed both in-house and off-the-shelf.

  • Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.

  • May interact with others, relating and gathering sensitive information. Interaction includes diverse groups.

  • Works with guidance or reliance on oral or written instructions from management. May require periods of intense concentration.

  • Performs a wide range of variable tasks as dictated by variable demands and changing conditions with little predictability as to the occurrence. Ability to perform under stress. Ability to multi-task.
