What you’ll do:

As an Application Lead for Packaged Application Development, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications. You will act as the primary point of contact and lead the effort to ensure successful project delivery. Your typical day will involve utilizing your expertise in IBM z/OS Systems Administration to provide technical guidance and support to the team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, build, and configuration of applications, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the project, providing technical guidance and support to the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring successful project delivery.
• Provide expertise in IBM z/OS Systems Administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of z/OS operating systems and subsystems.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system specifications, installation procedures, and user guides.

Here’s what you’ll need:

• Required Skill: Expertise in IBM z/OS Systems Administration.
• Strong understanding of z/OS operating systems and subsystems, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Experience with mainframe hardware and software, including IBM zSeries and Parallel Sysplex.
• Experience with system performance tuning and capacity planning.
• Experience with scripting languages, such as REXX and JCL.

Additional Information:

• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in IBM z/OS Systems Administration.
• This position is part of the Software Engineering job family group and is based in Manila.
• The JOB FAMILY and PROJECT ROLE information are not relevant to the candidates experience.
