Investment Banking Associate

TASQ Staffing Solutions is currently seeking Investment Banking Associates for positions in Makati. The role and responsibilities of the job include ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the status of individual tasks within a transaction and their alignment with the overall objectives set by the deal manager. This includes tasks such as financial modeling, preparing marketing materials, managing client information, and handling legal documentation. The role also involves close coordination with low- to mid-level client representatives, staying updated on capital market developments and relevant industries, attending client meetings when required, guiding junior team members, reviewing their work output, and ensuring the technical soundness of financial models and the quality of presentation materials and external correspondences.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of work experience in fields related to investment banking, corporate banking, advisory, consulting, or finance. A bachelors degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business administration is the minimum educational requirement.

Preferred skills for the position include proficiency in Excel and various types of financial models, familiarity with basic accounting concepts, knowledge of how financial models are customized for different industries and transaction types, reliable people management skills to guide junior team members and interact with external counterparts, the ability to produce client-ready output such as financial models, presentations, contracts, mandates, and agreements, and passable presentation skills.

The work schedule includes work-from-home Mondays and on-site work from Tuesday to Friday, with working hours from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM at the Rada office. Lunch is provided on on-site days. Overtime is not entitled but is factored into compensation and bonuses. Generally, the work hours are relaxed, but there may be occasional crunch times during critical deal points. The work flow is seasonal, with periods of both slack and high activity.
