Summary of This Role

Writes, edits, reviews and oversees release of internal communication documents and programs that support the organization. Edits and enhances internal communication materials, including intranet, newsletters, emails/memos, webcasts and speeches. Reviews and edits essential internal communications prior to dissemination to ensure accuracy, clarity, and appropriateness. Ensures a "corporate voice" permeates messaging to employees and stakeholders. Coordinates internal communication efforts with those provided by others who focus on external communications (i.e. marketing communications, investor relations). Works closely with executive management team and departments to keep abreast of company developments and trends. May assist with the development and implementation of new and existing communication vehicles.

What Part Will You Play?
  • Collaborates with communication leaders to develop and review basic multimedia (i.e. text, visual stills, simple hypertext) messaging and communications for routine/non-routine internal publications, and assists in their distribution across various communication channels (i.e. company intranet, digital signage, presentations, newsletters, e-mail, etc.). Participates in creating storyboards and recording/editing internal video messaging/communications.
  • Employs a working knowledge of marketing communication tools and technologies to assist in the maintenance of established channels, guidelines, and protocols.
  • Assists in the delivery of internal marketing campaign results and internal marketing communication activities. Performs basic analysis of communication activities and metrics from campaigns to enhance future programs.
  • Assists more experienced Employee Communications Specialists with planning, identifying and recommending the involvement of key stakeholders/divisions/departments, and determining best communication strategies/methods for internal communication projects and company events. Assists in the execution and launch of special company events.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Relevant Experience or Degree in: Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Journalism, Business or related field
  • Typically Minimum 2 Years Relevant Exp

Preferred Qualifications

  • Typically Minimum 2 Years Relevant Exp
  • Employee communications, marketing technology, project management, copyrighting/content development and managing online tools and software; financial industry or financial technology services industry experience in a large corporation preferred
