Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Marketing and Communications Specialist to join our professional firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our social media accounts, assisting with publications and writing, and overseeing external communications. Additionally, this individual will play a key role in organizing various events for the firm. The ideal candidate should possess a strong marketing background, exceptional writing skills, and a passion for creating engaging content across various platforms.

Responsibilities:

1. Social Media Management:

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to enhance brand awareness and engage our target audience.
  • Manage and maintain social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling, and monitoring.
  • Analyze social media metrics and provide reports on performance and insights for continuous improvement.
  • Monitor trends, competitor activities, and industry best practices to ensure our social media presence remains relevant and effective.

2. Publications and Writing:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling content for website, blog articles, newsletters, press releases, and other marketing collateral.
  • Ensure all content is accurate, well-written, and consistent with the firms brand voice and style guidelines.
  • Conduct thorough research to gather necessary information for content creation.
  • Edit and proofread all marketing materials to ensure quality and consistency.

3. External Communications:

  • Serve as the primary contact for all external communication channels, including media inquiries, partnership opportunities, and public relations initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets, industry influencers, and relevant stakeholders to secure coverage and enhance brand visibility.
  • Create and distribute press releases, news updates, and other communication materials to relevant media outlets and partners.
  • Monitor and respond to inquiries and feedback received through external communication channels in a timely and professional manner.

4. Event Organization:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute various events, such as conferences, seminars, webinars, and networking events.
  • Manage event logistics, including venue selection, vendor coordination, budgeting, and attendee registration.
  • Develop event marketing strategies to maximize attendance and engagement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure events align with the firms objectives and brand.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Proven experience in managing social media accounts and developing effective social media strategies.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms and their respective best practices.
  • Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics platforms.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Creative thinker with an eye for detail and the ability to generate innovative ideas.
  • Event management experience is preferred.
  • Photography skills is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with the professional services industry is a plus.
