Job Overview: The Helpdesk Specialist ensures accurate implementation of members healthcare benefits, focusing on utilization management and superior customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Issue LOAs: Assess coverage and explain non-coverage to members.
- Customer Service: Respond to inquiries and resolve complaints.
- Data Entry: Encode manual LOAs daily.
- Approval Management: Secure supervisor approval for certain LOAs.
- Support and Training: Assist with training new staff and preparing reports.
- Cost Management: Efficiently use office facilities to reduce costs.
- Understand and achieve Key Result Area (KRA) targets.
- Forward LOAs to appropriate departments or clinics.
- Train new Customer Care Representatives (CCRs).
- Update system files on doctor schedules and rates.
- Assist VIP members in accessing healthcare services.
- Refer members to cost-effective clinics or hospitals.
- Education: College graduate, preferably in Medical Allied Courses.
- Experience: 0-1 year of related experience.
- Skills: Basic computer proficiency, good customer service, and communication skills.
