About the Role

As an experienced Payroll Specialist you will be part of a team executing outcomes to deliver the end-to-end payroll services across Philippines and India. Core payroll activity is decentralised and performed in the country of payment. This encompasses all activity from payroll process to approval to finalisation. The purpose of the payroll team is to pay people accurately on time and to meet all regulatory requirements.

The smooth running of the payroll function is a key critical function for the group. You support the effective use of the payroll system to deliver efficient business processes and maximum functionality. You ensure the quality of delivery meets expectations, with a keen focus on employee experience - supporting an environment where people and technology thrive together to accomplish more than they could apart.

Role Type: Permanent, Full-time

What will your day look like?

The Payroll Specialist will also be responsible for the following:

Payroll and Benefits Processing Including Exits
Support Executive Payroll complex activity
Pre and Post payment processing, off cycle processing
Month / Year End Activity
Miscellaneous Payroll Activity
Validation and reconciliation
Escalations and Complex Queries
Checks and balances, payroll General Ledgers, Cost Centers, variance to last pay
Manage Loans (including overpayment)

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

Subject Matter Expert of Philippine payroll and benefits delivery with knowledge in government policies (SSS, HDMF, BIR and Philhealth) of the Philippines.
Proven experience in processing payroll and benefits in a large organisation
SAP / Success Factors systems experience
Possess high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in delivery.
Strong problem-solving skills combined with the ability to identify risks, possible solutions, process improvements and corrective actions.
Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously to deadlines.
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
