About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Data Entry Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately entering and maintaining data related to public health reports, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality. This role is crucial in supporting our efforts to monitor, analyze, and report on health trends and outcomes.

What youll do

  • Accurately enter and update health-related data and report the states DOH.
  • Verify and cross-check data entries for accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of all data in accordance with department policies and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate data submissions.
  • Identify and correct data discrepancies and inconsistencies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
  • Proven experience in data entry or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and data entry software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with health data and terminology is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
