GrowthAssistant is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Assistant - Paid Social to join our team. This is a paid social role with a focus on supporting Growth Marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing paid social platforms, strong video editing skills, and the ability to handle data reporting tasks related to advertising and email metrics. Training will be provided for candidates with a strong foundation in marketing.

MUST-HAVE:

  • 2+ years of FB Ads (building + optimizing) experience is must-have
  • Basic experience with Google Analytics
  • Experience/familiarity with DTC/e-commerce companies is a must-have
  • Experience with G Suite is a must-have - Primarily Google Sheets and basic functions
  • Grammatical skills/creative - experience with USA based companies and English speaking companies

NICE-TO-HAVE:

  • Google and/or FB certifications
  • Experience with Google Data Studio (or similar data platform) is a nice-to-have
  • Basic experience with Motion or creative/media buyer analyicts platform is a nice-to-have
  • Experience working w/ multiple clients (at the same time)
  • Some experience in SEO would be great (not a priority)

CORE TASKS:

  • Build and optimize across social platforms: FB (primarily) and TikTok - client to provide parameters for optimization
  • Build ads across all formats - videos, carousel, GIFs, organic posts, etc.
  • Build campaigns, ad sets, audiences - all conversion objectives
  • Optimize ads - turn off underperforming (client will give parameters), keep an eye on sale ads during sale periods, etc.
  • Ideate on audience testing & run competitive research
  • Monitor analytics and adjust according to client direction/parameters, basic QA, etc. - client to provide prescriptive direction and ongoing oversight
  • Manage administrative/data entry touchpoints (code creation, UTM set up, etc.)
  • Templated reporting, dashboarding and deck creation - client to provide templates
  • Created monthly creative recaps showing top & bottom performing ads - client to provide deck templates and guidance
  • Ad hoc digital marketing tasks as requested - client to provide training and/or prescriptive direction as/if needed

GROW-INTO:

  • Provide basic insights and trends on core reports - client to provide training
  • Run A/B tests
  • Provide basic insights, best practices and optimization recommendations
