Warehouse Helper

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

There are three (3) areas of responsibility covered by the Warehouse Helper:

• Receiving of Incoming Goods
• Inventory Control, and
• Order Preparation, and Processing/Reprocessing
• Dispatch of Outgoing Goods

The position reports directly to the Head of Operations of Sanmar or the Business Development Manager.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Receiving of Incoming Goods

• Assists on the checking, and receiving of incoming goods and makes sure that the received quantities match with the packing list, delivery receipts or sales invoices of suppliers
• Reports any discrepancy or mismatch of quantities or qualities of the products or materials – packing materials and other Sanmar-related deliveries
• Loads and unloads all incoming items, goods and materials with utmost care.
• Perform other related tasks may be assigned according to business goals and objectives.

Inventory Control

• Assists on making sure that the items stored in the warehouse are released to only authorized clients, partners and personnel of the company
• Counter Checks the goods to be received or received against sales invoice and/or delivery receipts.
• Communicates with the Sales and Logistics Assistant all the customer questions and/or issues and escalates to the Sales Executive(s) assigned when needed.
• Perform other related tasks may be assigned according to business goals and objectives.

Order Preparation, and Processing/Re-processing

• Assists in the fulfillment of customers’ orders and makes sure physically available items are prepared on time for subsequent on-time dispatch and delivery by the company’s delivery personnel
• Transmits delivery and other official company documents to Sales Office for proper documentation and control
• Transports to Head Office the stocks to be picked up by customers or for delivery by Sales personnel
• Perform other related tasks may be assigned according to business goals and objectives.

Dispatch of Outgoing Goods

• Handles and assists on the loading and dispatch of outgoing goods that are scheduled for delivery to customers
• Releases the items according to authorization given by the company and the management
• Perform other related tasks may be assigned according to business goals and objectives as secondary functions including, but not limited to, collections, simple messengerial tasks, packing of goods, urgent / emergency deliveries to customers whenever needed and/or as instructed

• 0-6 months experience in related field
• Senior High School Graduate
• Experience in inventory and warehousing is a plus for further personal growth within the company
• Must be flexible in work locations or site assignments as required and according to business goals and objectives
