Job description

1. Position Goals

· Must be able to follow instructions in cooking and delivering well-prepared meals.

· You must also plan and organize the meal plan, order and buy ingredients, coordinate with management to ensure proper delivery of expected meals at all times.

2. Responsibilities

· Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment

· Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)

· Cook food in various utensils or grillers

· Check food while cooking to stir or turn

· Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served

· Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen and surrounding areas

· Ensure all food and other items are stored properly

· Check quality of ingredients

· Monitor stock and place orders respectively do the groceries when there are shortages

· Check the quality and freshness of ingredients

· Maintain food and sanitation standards

3. Requirements

3.1. Professional Requirements

· With at least 1-2 years of working experience in the related field

- with experience in menu engineering

- knowledgeable in handling menu costing

3.2. Personal Requirements

· Proven experience as a cook

· Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware

· Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)

· Ability to follow all sanitation procedures

· Ability to work in a team and under time pressure

· Good communication skills with our residents and their families

· Excellent Physical condition

Schedule:

  • 12 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

  • 13th month salary
