Position: Full-Time Social Media Manager
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM (Singapore Time)
Start Date: Immediate
Trial Period: 1-2 week paid trial to assess compatibility and creative alignment
About the Role
We are a high-end Indian wedding planning company based in Singapore looking for a creative, strategic, and self-driven Social Media Manager to manage and grow our brand presence across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTube.
You will work closely with a remote team of graphic designers, video editors, photo editors, and project coordinators to develop high-impact, engaging, and trendy social media content that reflects the luxury and beauty of Indian weddings.
This is a leadership role that requires both creativity and consistency. You must be up to date with wedding trends, content formats, reels, and engagement strategies that can help grow our social media reach, drive traffic, and build strong brand authority.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a monthly content strategy and calendar for all social media platforms
- Daily coordination with team members (designers, video editors, photo editors, etc.) to source, produce, and schedule content
- Host or lead daily check-in meetings to align content tasks and planning
- Research and curate trending content ideas, reels, captions, audio, and hashtags that suit the Indian luxury wedding niche
- Monitor trends and competitor accounts to keep our content fresh and relevant
- Write engaging captions, plan interactive stories, and schedule posts
- Ensure branding consistency across all platforms
- Manage post scheduling, performance tracking, and insights reporting
- Suggest and implement growth strategies (collaborations, contests, reels optimization)
- Build a strong visual and thematic identity for our Instagram and other key platforms
- Work closely with the founder to align the digital presence with company goals and vision
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in managing social media for a brand or agency
- Strong knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, and content marketing
- Understanding of luxury Indian weddings or events is a strong plus
- Highly creative with an eye for design, visual storytelling, and brand voice
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Experience working with Canva, Meta Creator Studio, scheduling tools (Later, Buffer, etc.)
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to lead a remote creative team
- Strong communication skills and comfortable with Zoom/WhatsApp coordination
- Strong sense of current content trends, social behavior, and community building
