Job Summary

The General Accountant will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial records, maintaining compliance with tax regulations, and supporting the companys financial operations. This position is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting transactions, preparing financial reports, and assisting in budgeting and audits.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, including customer invoicing and vendor payments.
• Monitor and manage cash flow and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of BIR (Bureau of Internal Revenue) reports, tax returns, and other statutory requirements.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business planning.
• Coordinate with external auditors and assist in internal and external audits.
• Monitor fixed assets and inventory accounting.
• Implement and improve accounting procedures and internal controls.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper financial documentation and transaction support.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
• CPA license is preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general accounting, preferably in a service or rental-based company.
• Solid knowledge of Philippine tax laws and compliance requirements.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php40,000.00 - Php60,000.00 per month
