Collections Specialist (Work From Home)
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills — able to confidently handle difficult conversations with professionalism and empathy.
- Experience in collections, account management, customer service, or sales — especially in high-volume outbound calling environments.
- Ability to negotiate and influence — skilled at persuading customers to make payments and renew subscriptions without being aggressive.
- Comfortable working with KPIs and targets — accustomed to metrics like call volume, dollars collected, and reactivation rates.
- Basic financial understanding — able to explain billing issues, payment terms, and account balances clearly to customers.
- CRM and collections software experience — familiarity with tools like Salesforce, Zendesk, or a billing system.
- Problem-solving skills — able to quickly identify issues and offer workable solutions to customers.
- Persistence and resilience — can stay positive and motivated despite objections, rejections, or tough conversations.
- Attention to detail — ensures all customer interactions, payment promises, and outcomes are accurately recorded.
- High integrity and professionalism — treats all customers fairly and complies with company policies and relevant collections regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound calls and emails to customers with past-due accounts to secure payment and resolve outstanding balances.
- Engage with customers to understand reasons for non-payment and work toward a positive resolution.
- Promote product value and encourage customers to re-subscribe or continue their service during collection interactions.
- Maintain accurate records of all customer communications, payment agreements, and account updates.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Customer Success, RevOps) to address customer concerns and facilitate account recovery.
- Meet or exceed monthly targets for collections, customer retention, and reactivation.
- Provide exceptional customer service while balancing firm collection efforts with a respectful, solutions-oriented approach.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php336.70 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
