Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the customer master data function, managing a team responsible for customer data creation, maintenance, and governance
- Develop and implement data standards, policies, and procedures to ensure the accuracy and consistency of customer master data
- Oversee data lifecycle management processes including onboarding, updates, and inactivation of customer records
- Monitor data quality metrics and proactively resolve data issues through root cause analysis, validation, and reconciliation techniques
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to enhance ERP and MDM systems and workflows related to customer data
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer master data governance across departments
- Drive continuous improvement in data management processes and tools
- Provide training, guidance, and support to internal teams on customer master data best practices
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in data management with a strong focus on customer master data
- Minimum of 3 years in a leadership or managerial role, leading data teams or customer data functions
- Expertise in customer master data governance, quality assurance, and lifecycle management
- Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, and MDM tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for data validation, issue identification, and resolution
- Proven ability to develop and enforce data standards, policies, and compliance frameworks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; capable of collaborating effectively across departments and geographies
