Happy Heart Salon is seeking a skilled and detailed oriented Accountant to join our finance team. As an accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional with a strong analytical mindset and a proven track record in financial Management.

Job Description

• Manage and maintain general ledger accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions accurately and in a timely manner.

• Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statement, Profit and Loss report for accuracy and legal compliance
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in the recording of transactions

• Prepare and file tax returns

• Monitor and reconcile inter-branch and franchisee transactions, ensuring proper elimination during consolidation

• Process accounts Payable and accounts receivable transactions, including accurate and timely invoice processing, payment allocation, and collections

• Preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.

• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulations
• Assist in the preparation and submission of tax returns and other statutory filings

• Conduct periodic audits to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records
• Enter accounting related information into business logs

• Inspect account books for efficiency and accuracy

• Organize and update financial records

• Recommend ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue

• Perform monthly bank settlements

• Prepare documentation for external auditors

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 3-year Financial Management experience as a Accountant or equivalent role;

• Graduate of BS Accountancy or Financial Management

• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

• Have working knowledge in accounting functions including but not limited to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Adjusting Entries, Accrual Accounting, Bank Reconciliation, Payroll, etc.
