Sales Engineer
About the role
As a Sales Engineer at Nidec Motor Philippines Corporation, you will assists sales and engineering with technical review of elevator and architectural specifications. Provide timely and complete quotations to customers. Support marketing with data collection for market analysis based on quotes and orders generated from quotes. Identify improvements, but not limited to design, process, and maintain coordination within the department
What youll be doing
Conduct spec & non-spec review of configured-to-order (CTO) or engineered-to-order (ETO) elevator system and architectural packages, not limited to hydraulic & traction packages, power units, jack units, fixtures, controllers, cabs and components
Perform preliminary layout, understand and submit engineering inquiry
Able to navigate system tools such as AutoCAD, Salesforce, Macola
Prepare Quotation Package
Work with experienced sales engineers, prepare estimated quotes/costs to sales engineers in headquarters
Adhere to policy for compiling and/or supplying information to customers
Build a useful customer profile through Customer Relationship Management (CRM), compile individual tracking reports
Interact with vendors on quotes for material/component required to complete quotation package
What were looking for
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Minimum 1-2 years in engineering and construction, with background on creating technical quotation/proposal
At least 6 months working experience with customers of varied technical knowledge and business needs
Basic experience on AutoCAD 2D
Basic knowledge on CRM/ERP systems
Good communications skills
Proficient in MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
Amenable to work on graveyard shift, hybrid set-up.
