Social Media VA (US Hours)

Job Brief We are looking for a skilled Social Media Virtual Assistant to manage and execute daily social media activities across multiple platforms for our dynamic company. This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of social media trends and digital content creation, including video and audio editing. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and posting engaging content twice daily on Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, and TikTok, as well as editing video and radio broadcasts to maximize online engagement. Responsibilities:

Content Creation and Posting: Create and schedule engaging posts for all designated social media platforms, ensuring consistent activity with two posts per day on each platform.

Video and Audio Editing: Edit video and radio broadcasts for posting on social media, ensuring content is engaging, professionally presented, and optimized for each platform.

Engagement Monitoring: Monitor interactions across platforms, responding to comments and messages to foster community engagement.

Analytics Review: Track and report on social media engagement metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to improve reach and effectiveness.

Content Calendar Management: Maintain a content calendar to plan specific, timely marketing campaigns based on seasonality, current trends, or promotional events.

Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with marketing, sales, and content teams to align social media strategies with broader marketing campaigns and company goals.

Requirements:

Proven Experience: At least 2 years of experience managing social media platforms in a professional setting.

Expertise in Social Media Platforms: Strong familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, and TikTok, including best practices for content and engagement.

Video and Audio Editing Skills: Proficiency in editing software suitable for preparing broadcasts and other multimedia content for social media.

Strong Communication Skills: Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft messages appropriately for different platforms.

Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple platforms and maintain a posting schedule without compromising content quality.

Desirable:

Creative Skills: A knack for visual storytelling and creating compelling content that resonates with diverse audiences.

Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop strategies that increase follower engagement and brand awareness.

Software Proficiency:

Social Media Management Tools: Experience with tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar for scheduling posts.

Video Editing Software: Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.

Audio Editing Software: Experience with Audacity, Adobe Audition, or similar.

Education:

A degree or certification in Marketing, Communication, or a related field is preferred, highlighting specialized training in digital media.
