Job Brief We are seeking a skilled Travel Professional to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in Global Distribution Systems (GDS), preferably Sabre, and possess an intermediate knowledge of the travel industry. This role will primarily involve utilizing GDS to book flights, hotels, cars, and other travel arrangements, as well as performing basic Tramada entries. Strong written English skills are essential for communication with suppliers, while spoken English proficiency is required for phone communication. While not client-facing, attention to detail and accuracy are crucial for this role. Requirements
- Proficiency in Global Distribution Systems (GDS), preferably Sabre, with experience in booking flights, hotels, cars, and travel arrangements.
- Intermediate knowledge of the travel industry, including airline codes, airport codes, fare constructions, and online travel platforms.
- Excellent written English skills for email communication with suppliers and accuracy in documentation.
- Decent spoken English for phone communication with suppliers; client-facing interactions are not required.
- Basic Tramada admin tasks experience would be preferred but not essential.
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for basic administrative tasks.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
- Utilize GDS (preferably Sabre) to book flights, hotels, cars, and other travel services for clients.
- Maintain proficiency in airline codes, airport codes, basic fare constructions, hotel reservations, car rentals, and online travel platforms (e.g., Expedia).
- Communicate effectively with suppliers via phone and email to secure bookings, resolve issues, and obtain necessary information.
- Perform basic Tramada admin tasks, including data entry, reservation updates, and documentation management.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all travel bookings and documentation, adhering to company standards and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to provide seamless travel services and support to clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Assist with other administrative tasks and projects as needed.
