RESPONSIBILITIES

• Respond to IT tickets and requests from employees in the Philippines and Australian offices
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity
• Provide assistance with common software applications and tools
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate manager or external providers/vendors
• Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripherals for new employees
• Assist in onboarding procedures for new employees, ensuring they have access to the required IT resources
• Assist in off-boarding procedures for departing employees, including account terminations and data backup
• Monitor and oversee the creation of user accounts for offshore staff
• Ensure that user access is granted based on the companys security policies and procedures
• Act as the point of contact for external IT vendors and service providers
• Coordinate with vendors for warranty and repair services, such as Lenovo, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of hardware issues
• Collaborate with the BPOSeats facilities team to address IT-related facilities requirements
• Perform regular audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of asset documentation

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred, but experience may be substituted in some cases).
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in IT support or a similar role
• Experience working in a multi-site environment (experience supporting users in both the Philippines and Australia is a plus)
• Strong understanding of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting principles
• Proficiency in using common IT support tools and ticketing systems
• Experience with Microsoft Windows, Office Suite, and other widely used applications
• Familiarity with basic network configurations (TCP/IP)
• Familiarity with IT documentation and workflow management.
• Ability to work effectively with vendors and other IT professionals
• Working knowledge of relevant IT security policies and procedures
• Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn new technologies
• Certifications (preferred, but not always mandatory)
• A+ or similar industry-recognized IT support certification
• Vendor-specific certifications relevant to the companys IT infrastructure (e.g., Microsoft certifications, Lenovo certifications)
