JOB DESCRIPTION


The role, helps evaluate, plan, implement, provide oversight over the corporate health & wellness services and associated benefit offerings for the location. The candidate will ensure the delivery of professional care through our wellness centers while developing trusted collaborations with health services staff, employees, key stakeholders in the firm that includes environmental health and safety, corporate security, wellness councils, compliance and regulatory teams, as well as local community hospitals.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develops and coordinates implementation of JPMC (JPMorgan Chase) wellness initiatives and programs for the location while monitoring budgets and evaluating the effectiveness of programs.
  • Is an active member of the JPMC Wellness Council providing direction and leadership and assisting in the achievement of its objectives
  • Is a member of the OSH (Occupational Safety and Health) council responsible for strategy and execution of regulatory prescribed wellness programs, drafting of OSH related company policies and regulatory reporting
  • As an SME (Subject Matter Expert), be able to provide guidance and recommendations about OSH and DOH(Department of Health) related concerns based on established and updated standards
  • Works collaboratively with Employee Assistance Program teams, Employee Relations, Disability Management, Security, Facilities, Dining Services, VLGs (Volunteer Leadership Group) and community partners as well as co-workers and others as identified
  • Attains a high level of employee satisfaction with services as demonstrated through verbal and written feedback as well as employee satisfaction surveys

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Manages Vendors/Partners for Performance – Contractual / Financial and Operational Excellence
  • The incumbent will play an important role in managing the partners / vendors we work with in the delivery of our objectives, such as medical, health & insurance providers amongst others
  • Monitors wellness centre and associated services as per defined process and contracted SLA’s (Service Level Agreement) for continuous improvement
  • Participates in Health and Wellness Center policy and procedure development with vendor and monitors for consistent implementation and support
  • Collaborates with vendor to understand needs, listens to suggestions and escalates as appropriate to JPMC management for problem resolution and/or operational enhancements
  • Manage the appropriate onboarding / off boarding of vendor employees
  • Works with vendor to ensure orientation for all staff in region and monitors plan for performance remediation, as needed; ensure personnel meet internal and regulatory standards as well as appropriate training covering process and technical knowledge; track expenditures, ensure efficiencies, and support budgetary objectives; staffing needs are efficiently met, and coverage is maintained
  • Conducts a minimum of weekly meetings with vendor manager to establish relationship, discuss identified issues, develop resolutions, monitor implementation and review results
  • Reviews audit deficiencies and collaborates with vendor to identify strategies for remediation of deficiencies to target 100% compliance
  • Monitors vendor operations to ensure all safety and environmental guidelines for storage, use of equipment, and disposal of medical and pharmaceutical waste are met
  • Prepares and submits required reports in a timely manner, including data collection, analysis and recommendations for future actions

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Degree or Diploma in healthcare / Health sciences / Occupational Health or related fields Preferred
  • Ten or more years of experience in healthcare delivery of which 5 years are in management of operations
  • Must have solid knowledge and/or experience working with HMO (Health Maintenance Organization), DOH, OSH and other relevant government agencies.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Is results driven and able to work successfully in fast-paced corporate environment, with flexible scheduling requirements
  • Computer proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, electronic health record software
  • Able to comfortably work with and analyze data.
