Health Claims and Relationship Specialist Operations
Purpose of the Role
As a Health Claims and Relationship Specialist you will oversee each phase of the customer engagement process. Liaise with insurance companies and healthcare providers to ensure members coverage and advocate for their needs. Resolve complaints by examining issues and coordinating with hospital departments to handle concerns effectively.
Responsibilities of the Role
  • Answer customer’s call, identify the information that the customer needs to resolve customer issues via call/email resolution guidelines and/or escalated process.
  • Familiarization with the health product plan and up to date with changes.
  • Process payouts for Finance disbursement.
  • Fraud Manager.

Requirements for the Role
  • A graduate of any four-year course. Allied medical background is an advantage.
  • Prior experience as a customer service specialist or equivalent, ideally within a similar setting
  • Knows medical terms, procedures, and illnesses.
  • Computer literate and above typing speed.
  • Thorough with excellent listening skills
  • Ability to calm, irate and anxious, or grieving clients and available to work during evenings, weekends, and public holidays (if required)
  • Ability to work collaboratively with managers, staff, and all accredited third-party administrator.
