Responsibilities:

• Occupational Health and Safety
• Schedule (every 3rd quarter of the year) and assist annual medical examination of all employees.
• Evaluates new employees’ medical certificates for onboarding procedure.
• Accredits clinics and hospitals for healthcare accommodation.
• Coordinates employee health needs with the accredited hospitals and clinics in accordance with the in-house health care plan (health care coordinator)
• Monitor health care plan utilization cost including checking and processing of medical/dental reimbursements.
• Reviews and recommends the best HMO facility.
• Represents the company in occupational safety and health programs by the government and other fora.
• Implement wellness programs in relation to work-life balance.
• Ensures that the company is occupational safety and health compliant.
• Implements and monitors department’s compliance to 5S standards.
• Automatically becomes a member of the safety committee and emergency response team.

Nursing / Medical Care

• Administer first aid treatments and provide medications for employees as needed.
• Monitor and record the patients condition.
• Assist all injured employees to the nearest hospital.
• Maintain all employees medical and other similar records.
• Secure and ensure that the sick employees submit "fit to work" certificate.
• Interpret and evaluate diagnostic test based on the verification of medical certificates.
• Coordinate with hospitals for minor medical operations.
• Coordinates with the medical director cases that needed more severe medical attention.
• Dispenses medicines for requesting employees.
• Conduct an inventory of medicines and other supplies once a month.
• Generate medical reimbursement report every month.
• Assist in other tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

2. Medicine Inventory

Talent Acquisition

1. Participate in New Employee Onboarding discussion.

2. Discussion of pre-employment requirements

3. Follow up candidates on their pre-employment requirements / answer queries.

Learning and Development

1. Assist in New Employee Onboarding classes.

2. Coordinate the Health and Wellness webinar.

HRBP

1. Coordinate with HRBP for WFH for Maternity and Sickness of EE’s

External Vendor / Pre-Employment Medical Exam

1. Checking of the Medical Status of new hires

External Vendor for Medicine Supply

1. Ordering of Medicines

2. Processing of Invoice

External Vendor for HMO

1. Enrollment, Update, Cancellation of Principal and Dependents

2. Processing of Invoice for Payment

3. Coordination for Annual Physical Exam

4. Compilation of results for Annual Physical Exam

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing with PRC License
• 3-5 years of experience in activities regarding medical care and Occupational Safety and Health
• Must be proficient in MS Office 2000, i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Sound clinical knowledge and basic occupational nursing care.
• Experience in SSC or BPO industry, preferably but not required.
