Digital Asset Research Analyst
For our Bali-based client, who is originally from the UK, we are seeking a Digital Asset Research Analyst for their Digital Asset Hedge Fund. The client has a background as the COO of a commodities hedge fund and is currently also the COO of a carbon trading company. The successful candidate will work for the Digital Asset Hedge Fund which invests capital from its private investors to generate alpha. As a research analyst, you should have a strong background in finance, as well as a strong interest in digital assets.

  • Part Time / 20 hours a week (will grow into full-time)
  • Remote job (Singapore time zone)
  • Hourly salary: $4 - $8 (Depending on experience)
Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth research in the digital asset space, including fundamental analysis of crypto projects and macroeconomics.
  • Utilize data to create and maintain detailed spreadsheets, incorporating information from on-chain data providers.
  • Research and report on specific projects within designated sectors of the digital asset space, such as AI tokens.
  • Analyze protocols, understand their implications, and develop investment theses.
  • Stay updated with market developments and regulations, including analyzing legal documentation like lawsuits to assess market impact.
  • Collaborate with team members to generate insights and support decision-making processes.
  • Assist the Chief Investment Officer in the day-to-day operations of the Hedge Fund.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3+ years experience working in Finance & Business
  • Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Agile and adaptable, capable of managing diverse tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Ideally possesses an MBA, Financial degree or equivalent business-related degree, reflecting business acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Strong interest in cryptocurrencies and digital assets in general.
  • Strong research and data background.
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to juggle multiple projects concurrently.
  • Strong Excel skills
