Duties and responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to ensure efficient and timely delivery of medical devices and related products.
  • Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to arrange transportation and manage import/export processes, ensuring compliance with regulations and documentation requirements.
  • Monitor shipment schedules, track delivery progress, and proactively address any logistical issues or delays to minimize disruptions and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Optimize transportation routes and modes, negotiating contracts and rates with logistics service providers to achieve cost savings while maintaining service levels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, sales, and customer service, and optimize supply chain processes to meet customer needs and business objectives.
  • Implement and enforce safety and compliance standards in logistics operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Generate reports and analysis related to logistics performance, including on-time delivery metrics, transportation costs.,
  • Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to arrange transportation and oversee import/export processes, ensuring compliance with all regulations and documentation requirements.
  • Optimize transportation routes and modes, negotiating contracts and rates with logistics service providers to achieve cost savings while maintaining high service standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, sales, and customer service, to streamline supply chain processes and meet customer needs and business objectives.
Professional competencies
  • Bachelor’s degree in Custom Administration
  • Licensed Customs Broker
  • With minimum 2 years experience in related field
  • Proven experience in logistics operations, preferably in the medical device or healthcare industry.
  • Strong understanding of transportation, warehousing, and distribution processes, including import/export regulations and documentation requirements.
  • Proficiency in logistics management software and tools, such as TMS (Transportation Management System) and WMS (Warehouse Management System).
Personal competencies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address logistical issues and challenges.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously, while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to logistics operations.
  • Knowledge in duties and taxes computation and trained in tariff and customs law.
