Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor to join our dynamic Warehouse team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehousing and logistics functions, including PEZA customs processes and local logistics. The successful candidate will bring strong leadership, operational expertise, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and manage all warehouse activities, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and orderliness.
• Utilise warehouse management systems and IT platforms effectively.
• Oversee daily operations including timely receipt and dispatch of goods (Import/Local – Containerised, Truck, Van).
• Ensure accuracy and proper documentation of all manual and system-generated transactions.
• Verify documentation for PEZA compliance, ensuring all required stamps and signatures are present.
• Manage put-away, labelling, and timely system transactions.
• Lead inventory cycle counts and ensure alignment between physical and system records.
• Supervise material picking, packing, labelling, and loading for export.
• Train, supervise, and support warehouse personnel.
• Prepare reports and conduct analysis on logistics spend to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with PEZA, Customs, PDEA, Brokers, Consultants, and other relevant government agencies.
• Ensure compliance with document retention guidelines and shipping instructions, including customs entries and shipment paperwork.

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in warehouse, inventory, and/or logistics operations.
• Strong organisational and analytical skills with a methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems and MS Office applications.
• Adaptable, proactive, and eager to learn with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Validforklift license and experience operating warehouse equipment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organisation.
