Your Role:

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Perform detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, providing actionable recommendations to management.

Tax Compliance & Planning:

• Prepare and submit local and national tax returns, including VAT, income tax, and other applicable taxes.
• Ensure timely compliance with all tax regulations, minimizing tax liabilities and identifying opportunities for tax savings.

Accounting Management:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting functions such as accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and reconciliationsli>
• Manage the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and classified.
• AP Voucher Entry and cash application
• AR cash recording
• Vendor reconciliations
• Bank reconciliations
• GL JE preparation
• Standard / actual costing of inventory receipts
• Invoice management with portals
• AR / AP aging reviews

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Lead the development of annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Analyze financial data to support business forecasting and performance measurement.

Internal Controls & Audit

• Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls to ensure financial integrity and prevent fraud.
• Coordinate and collaborate with external auditors during the audit process to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Cash Flow & Working Capital Management

• Track cash flow and working capital to ensure financial stability.
• Provide recommendations on improving liquidity and optimizing cash flow.

Strategic Financial Guidance

• Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making and long-term business planning.Collaborate with senior management to set financial goals and performance targets.

What You Need:

• Expertise in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• In-depth knowledge of e-commerce financial systems and workflows is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
