We are working in 70+ countries, and our service has been used by millions of travelers worldwide. We are looking for a Business Development Manager for the Philippines.
Requirements:At least 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or data analysis. Online travel background (GDS, OTA, Meta Searches, bus/ferry companies, TMS etc.). Strategic business-oriented thinking based on data.
Our tech stack: Asana, Jira, Confluence, Slack, Google Analytics, Google Docs. Previous experience would be a plus. Ability to make things happen and proactivity: close the agreements, find growth points, find solutions to increase sales and more.
Fluent in English, both written and verbal, and in local dialect such as Binisaya and/or Hiligaynon. Good understanding of competitors and the market of travel, ground transportation in the Philippines would be a plus. Ability to travel within the region.
Previous remote work and industry related (transportation, OTA) experience would be a plus & travel experience in the Philippines region would be a plus. Responsibilities:Build and maintain strong and long lasting relationships with all Mindanao operators. Update rates and schedules of PH operators in Mindanao
Area. Assist Finance Team on reconciliation of balances/invoices, check on remaining deposits, and assist with sales estimation during peak season. Strategize on how to grow the local market particularly in Mindanao.
Work closely with Marketing Team to promote the local market, and promote reseller / affiliate program. Find new local operators in Mindanao Region, find new deals, and try to maximize profit for the company from current operators. Exciting
