Job Title: Electronics Technician

Job Description:

We seek a skilled and dedicated Electronics Technician to join our hospital team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic equipment, with a focus on hospital medical devices, air conditioning units, and hospital beds. This role requires flexibility in handling diverse tasks and the ability to work in a hospital environment, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair biomedical equipment, air conditioning units, hospital beds, and other electronic devices.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
• Diagnose and solve electronic and mechanical issues within the hospital environment.
• Collaborate with other technical staff to ensure timely repairs and maintenance services.
• Maintain accurate service records and logbook entries for each repair or maintenance task.
• Ensure compliance with hospital safety standards and protocols.
• Willingness to work on-call, overtime, and during emergencies as required.
• Conduct fieldwork and travel to other locations as needed for equipment servicing and installation.
• Open to relocation assignments based on operational requirements.

Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate of at least a 2-year technical/vocational course, specializing in Biomedical Equipment, Aircon Technology, Hospital Beds, or related fields.
• At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in a hospital or similar environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of electronic systems, medical devices, air conditioning units, and hospital bed mechanisms.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong troubleshooting, technical, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work overtime, perform fieldwork, and relocate as needed.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in Biomedical Equipment Technology or Air Conditioning Systems is an advantage.
• Familiarity with hospital safety protocols and technical standards.
