Overview

Tax Manager/Tax Director Public Accounting

Seeking an experienced Tax Manager/Director to join our team. We desire someone who is looking for a long-term career move to a firm that espouses family values, flexibility, as well as professional growth. Your focus will initially be on tax planning, financial planning and tax compliance for closely held businesses and their owners, as well as high net worth individuals outside of the closely held business arena. Longer term, you will be given the flexibility to grow and develop into other areas in which you are gifted.

• Serving as the firm’s primary liaison with clients
• Supervising staff accountants
• Delegating, reviewing and signing of individual, corporate, partnership, fiduciary and gift tax returns
• Quarterly tax planning for both individuals and businesses
• Delegating and reviewing Business Property Statement Returns
• Other miscellaneous client projects
• Candidates must be willing to work overtime during busy seasons

• A CPA licensed by the state of California
• A team spirit, willing to lend a helping hand to team members and clients
• Undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting, taxation or equivalent
• A proven track record of success
• At least seven years of experience in public accounting
