- Job Summary:
- The Sales Account Executive is responsible for generating and managing new business for the hotel by identifying, developing, and maintaining relationships with potential clients. This role involves actively selling the hotels services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring client satisfaction to maximize revenue and drive hotel occupancy. The Sales Account Executive will work closely with the sales team and other departments to meet revenue targets and contribute to the overall growth and success of the hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Identify and prospect new business opportunities for the hotel, including corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and group bookings.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of leads by networking, attending industry events, and leveraging existing relationships.
- Qualify leads and identify customer needs to tailor solutions that fit their requirements and maximize hotel revenue.
Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to increase bookings and meet or exceed sales goals for room nights, events, and other hotel services.
- Actively sell the hotels amenities, meeting spaces, and services to prospective clients through calls, emails, and face-to-face meetings.
- Negotiate room rates, group packages, and other terms with clients to close deals and maximize revenue.
- Prepare and present tailored proposals, quotations, and contracts to clients.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets set by the sales department.
Client Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and accounts to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.
- Provide personalized service to clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met before, during, and after their stay or event.
- Address client concerns and issues promptly to ensure satisfaction and ensure that the hotel maintains a positive reputation.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Stay informed of industry trends, competitive landscape, and local market conditions to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Analyze competitors offerings, pricing, and marketing strategies to ensure the hotels offerings remain competitive.
- Report on sales performance, market trends, and feedback from clients to the sales manager or director.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with the hotel operations team to ensure smooth delivery of services for clients, including room block arrangements, meeting setups, catering, and other event-related services.
- Coordinate with marketing to implement promotions, advertising, and brand-building activities for the hotel.
- Ensure that clients expectations are communicated to all departments for effective service delivery.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, sales activity, and contracts in the CRM system.
- Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and activity reports to the sales manager or director.
- Ensure timely follow-up on all inquiries and maintain thorough documentation of client conversations and sales progress.
Brand Representation:
- Represent the hotel at trade shows, conferences, and networking events to build awareness and generate new business opportunities.
- Uphold the hotels image, brand, and values when interacting with clients and external parties.
