HR Assistant
The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting HR operations, ensuring compliance with local (PH) and US labor laws, and fostering a positive work environment. This position requires a proactive individual with strong organizational and communication skills who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Assist in day-to-day HR functions in the US and Philippines
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and US employment regulations.
- Prepare HR documents such as employment contracts, disciplines, and policy updates and filing documents in 201 files.
- Address employee inquiries related to policies, benefits, and payroll in a timely manner.
- Assist in resolving employee concerns and escalating issues to the HR Manager when necessary.
- Coordinate with benefits providers for enrollment, claims, and updates as necessary
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in accordance with data protection regulations.
- Stay updated on local and US labor laws and advise the team on changes that impact HR operations.
- Support the implementation of training programs and initiatives to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Maintain training records and employee records.
- Assist in processing payroll by ensuring accurate timekeeping
- Coordinate with benefits providers for enrollment, claims, and updates.
- Assisting in organizing employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs as needed.
- Assist HR leadership for HR related tasks.
- Other task assign by supervisor or manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of HR experience, including generalist functions and exposure to US HR processes.
- With administrative work experience and can handle administrative task
- Familiarity with US employment laws and PH local labor regulations.
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms (e.g., Sprout, ADP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Certification in HR (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is an advantage but not required.
