Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Budget and Proposal Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and managing budgets, preparing proposals for funding opportunities, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. This is a remote position, and we are looking for a self-starter who has a strong internet connection. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in finance and a passion for making a difference in the lives of others. Candidates must be willing to work from 9 am to 5 pm EST.

We also welcome entry-level candidates who are eager to learn and grow in this field.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain budgets for various programs and services
• Prepare proposals for funding opportunities, including grant applications and requests for proposals (RFPs)
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to budgeting and proposal development
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information for budget and proposal development
• Monitor and track budget expenditures to ensure alignment with approved budgets
• Provide regular updates on budget status and proposal development progress to management

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in finance, business administration, or related field ( not required but preferred )
• Proven experience in budget development and proposal writing ( not required but preferred )
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to budgeting and proposal development
• Self-starter with a strong internet connection
