About Us: A progressive law firm specialising in Family Law is seeking a motivated and experienced Paralegal / Legal Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Family Law. This role requires someone organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple tasks, from legal documentation to client communications and general office administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting and preparing legal documents for Family Law matters.
• Filing documents with courts and other relevant authorities.
• Managing case files and maintaining accurate records.
• Communicating effectively with clients, including updates and correspondence.
• Assisting with reception duties, including answering phone calls and greeting clients.
• Performing general administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the firm.
• Handling Wills & Estate or Probate matters.
• Utilising legal practice management software, including LEAP and Smokeball, for case management and documentation.

Requirements:

• Australian experience preferred.
• Previous experience in Family Law, with experience in Wills & Estate or Probate.
• Strong knowledge of legal processes, court filing procedures, and document drafting.
• Experience with LEAP and/or Smokeball.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard office software.
