Anvic Construction Philippines Incorporated is seeking a talented Safety Officer (SO2) to join our team in Santa Rosa City Laguna. This full-time role is essential in ensuring the safety and well-being of our construction site personnel. As a Safety Officer, you will be responsible for implementing and monitoring safety protocols to create a secure work environment.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards.
• Providing safety training and educational sessions for construction workers to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Investigating and documenting any incidents or accidents occurring on site, and implementing corrective measures.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations, as well as company policies.
• Maintaining comprehensive records and reports related to site safety and incident management.
• Authorizing and signing work permits, as well as managing gate passes for loading and unloading activities.
• Overseeing the inventory of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensuring that workers are properly equipped.
• Submitting and reporting necessary safety-related documents to the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
• Conducting daily toolbox talks each morning to address safety concerns and reinforce safety procedures.
• Monitoring and recording site attendance to ensure all personnel are present and accounted for

What we're looking for

• Graduate of 4-year course or related course
• Has 40 Hours COSH Certificate
• At least 1 year of experience as a Safety Officer or in a similar role within the construction industry
• No Experience is Welcome to apply
• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with workers at all levels
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and the ability to use safety management software
• Knowledgeable in DOLE Compliance
• A proactive and detail-oriented approach to ensure the highest standards of safety are met
