About the RoleThe Treasury Accountant will oversee cash management, payment processes, banking facilities, and obligations. The role focuses on managing financing and loan documentation, trade finance activities, LC issuance, bank guarantees, and payment cycles. It also involves liquidity management, foreign exchange hedging, and maintaining relationships with banking and financing partners.

Responsibilities include:Processing payments for the region and subsidiaries

Monthly bank reconciliations and reporting

Updating weekly cash position reports and cash flow forecasts

Issuing guarantees and bonds, coordinating with business development, project finance, and operations teams

Managing bank guarantees renewal, termination, and amendments

Archiving guarantee documentation

Communicating with banks

Preparing monthly guarantees status reports

Handling debt facility arrangements and maintaining related reports

Monitoring working capital and DSO by country

Following cash pooling operations

Supporting month-end closing processes

What We Need from YouA degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent qualification5 to 8 years of relevant experience

Experience with bank account opening, KYC processes, and banking relationships

Skills in cash reporting, cash flow forecasting, and using cash management tools

Experience with guarantees

Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA) with treasury, cash management, and trade finance experience in financial or commercial institutions
