Spillway Workforce Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting and Administrative Specialist to support our client's accounting and operational needs. This role requires a combination of accounting expertise and administrative skills to ensure smooth and efficient processes while contributing to the overall success of the client's business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team and support a US healthcare client. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in accounting and financial reporting, with experience in handling core accounting functions such as accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.

Beyond daily accounting tasks, this role also offers the opportunity to work on pro forma financial statements and assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audits. You'll collaborate closely with the client's finance manager to ensure accurate reporting, compliance, and smooth month-end closing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle core accounting functions: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, payroll, and general ledger management.
• Prepare and reconcile financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Support audits and assist in month-end closing in coordination with the client's finance manager.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Prepare pro forma financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) to support financial planning and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Strong accounting background with experience in general accounting functions.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
• Knowledge in building pro forma financial statements and strategic forecasting.
• Understanding of medical audit processes and compliance.
• Prior experience with US accounts or healthcare is an advantage.
