We are seeking a talented individual to join our Corporate & Commercial team at Marsh. This role will be based in Philippine.

The Collection Specialist is responsible for managing the accounts receivable process and ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices. This role requires effective communication with customers, problem-solving skills, and the ability to develop payment arrangements. The ideal candidate will contribute to the financial health of the organization by minimizing bad debt and maximizing cash flow.

We will count on you to:

  • Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and identify overdue accounts for prompt follow-up.

  • Initiate contact with customers via phone, email, or written correspondence regarding unpaid invoices and payment terms.

  • Negotiate payment plans and settlements as needed, maintaining strong customer relationships while ensuring financial due diligence.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, payment agreements, and account status in the collection management system. Investigate and resolve customer disputes or discrepancies in billing, collaborating with internal departments to ensure accuracy.

  • Prepare regular reports on collection activities, outstanding balances, and overall performance metrics for management review.

  • Adhere to all state and local regulations regarding debt collection practices, ensuring ethical collection methods.

  • Coordinate with the finance team to ensure timely application of payments and maintenance of accurate financial records.

  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal & external clients while aiming to collect outstanding balances.

  • Assist in the management of contractual employees

What you need to have:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

  • 2+ years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or a similar role. Experience in insurance is a plus.
