Role Overview:

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Underwriting Coordinator to join our growing team. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end process of Merchant Processing Agreements (MPAs), including collecting necessary documentation, obtaining signatures, and ensuring timely submissions to the Underwriting team. You will be a key point of contact for underwriting communications, supporting a smooth and efficient onboarding experience for merchants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and complete Merchant Processing Agreements (MPAs) for submission.
  • Obtain and manage required merchant signatures and supporting documentation.
  • Communicate directly with the Underwriting team to address any questions or issues.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of submission statuses and merchant files.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks to ensure timely merchant account approvals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize the MPA process and documentation workflows.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in payment processing, financial services, or underwriting support is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and document management systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
