POSITION SUMMARY

MarketSource is searching for a Business Support Specialist II who will perform administrative support functions in report generation, invoice creation, time tracking, and other back‑office work requests. The role includes completing basic reports using data analysis and assigned systems, generating business‑unit specific reports, troubleshooting support issues, and assisting leadership with training and expectations for team members to provide quality support service to business operational teams and clients.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Administrative Support and Reporting Functions
  • Perform a variety of administrative support functions for the assigned business unit focused on report generation, invoice creation, time tracking, and other back‑office work requests.
  • Enter, research, and complete customer orders and returns in a timely and accurate manner adhering to department policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Develop an understanding of client programs supported and communicate various data items to clients as necessary.
  • Assist with cross‑training to provide quality support to sales and business operations teams and look for streamlining opportunities.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and assist with questions, quality audits, and training for lower‑level employees.
  • Troubleshoot client or business unit team administrative or documentation issues and assist with ensuring a resolution.
  • Assist team members with business unit specific reports and training on reporting cycle to generate and distribute administrative sales support reports.
  • Assist in the process of streamlining support team activities and integration of shared tools.
  • Establish and maintain a professional relationship with team members, clients, and department contacts.
  • Work on assigned administrative, clerical, or data entry projects under general supervision.
  • Perform additional and related duties as assigned.
Physical and Mental Requirements
  • The nature of the work is sedentary and requires sitting most of the time.
  • Essential physical functions include typing, grasping, and repetitive motions to utilize general computer software/hardware throughout the day.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years general clerical, event planning, report development, or related experience required.
  • Minimum of 1 year previous call center or sales experience preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
REMOTE WORKING HOURS

This is a remote position that requires working U.S. business hours ideally from 2:00 PM to 11:00 AM Central Time (CT), 3:00 AM to 12:00 PM Manila, Tuesday through Saturday.
