Civil Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team at San Miguel Global Power Holdings Corp. This is a full-time position based in Metro Manila. In this key role, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to ensure the successful completion of our civil engineering projects.

What youll be doing

• Conducting site inspections and surveys to assess project requirements and identify potential challenges

• Preparing detailed engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for civil engineering projects

• Overseeing the construction and implementation of civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to coordinate project activities and resolve any issues that may arise

• Monitoring project progress and providing regular reports to stakeholders

• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency

• Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members

What were looking for

• A bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

• At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in civil engineering, with work experience the hydro power or infrastructure industry

• Strong technical skills in structural analysis, foundation design, and construction management

• Proficiency in using engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and structural design tools

• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
