POSITION PURPOSE
The Photovoltaic Construction Measurement Personnel is responsible for conducting precise site measurements, layout verification, and topographic mapping for solar PV construction projects.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct accurate site measurements and verification for solar PV construction projects.
Ensure PV module mounting, racking, and electrical system alignments comply with engineering designs and renewable energy standards.
Operate and maintain surveying and measurement tools such as total stations, GPS-RTK, and level instruments.
Prepare topographic maps, site layouts, and as-built documentation using AutoCAD and GIS software.
Document and report site measurements, deviations, and as-built conditions to project engineers.
Collaborate with engineers, quality control teams, and contractors to resolve discrepancies between site conditions and design plans.
Support renewable energy construction teams by providing reliable data for efficient project execution.
Participate in pre-construction surveys and prepare final measurement reports for project handover.
Ensure compliance with occupational safety and environmental protection standards in renewable energy projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree, diploma, or technical certificate in Engineering, Construction Technology, Surveying, or related field (preferred).
At least 1-2 years of experience in measurement, surveying, or construction (experience in solar/PV projects is an advantage).
Proficient in using measurement and surveying equipment (laser tools, total station, GPS, levels, etc.).
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical plans, and construction blueprints.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Physically fit to perform fieldwork in various site conditions.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Proficient in the use of total stations, GPS-RTK, level instruments, and other surveying equipment.
Skilled in AutoCAD and GIS software for topographic mapping and data processing.
Ability to interpret renewable energy system layouts, engineering drawings, and construction blueprints.
Strong attention to accuracy, detail, and quality in measurement work.
Good problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
Degree, diploma, or technical certificate in Engineering, Surveying, Renewable Energy Technology, or related field.
Experience in site measurement, surveying, or construction (solar PV background preferred).
Physically fit and willing to work in outdoor renewable energy construction sites.
Willing and committed to stay for a long-term assignment.
Work Location: Northern Ilocos (Ilocos Region)
