Lennor Metier Consulting, a DOLE-licensed headhunting and recruitment agency in the Philippines, partners with a leading global producer of industrial minerals in their search for a Plant Electrical Engineer based in Cavite.Salary Range: OpenWork Setup: OnsiteShift Schedule: Day ShiftLocation: CaviteThe roleThe Electrical Engineer is responsible for the overall electrical and automation systems of the plant, from maintenance and repair to upgrades and project implementation. This role involves proactive and reactive maintenance, project management, inventory and procurement, and safety and compliance.Your responsibilities Maintenance & Repair: Perform cost-effective repairs and maintenance on all electrical equipment. This includes troubleshooting electrical and PLC-related issues and responding to out-of-hours call-outs to address breakdowns and restore production. The engineer also establishes and executes a system for preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to ensure continuous improvement. Project Management: Be involved in the entire lifecycle of projects, from initial concept and design to implementation, testing, and final handover. This includes creating project proposals, preparing engineering specifications, and developing work procedures and cost estimates for upgrades and new construction. The goal is to improve production performance through automation processes. Contractor & Vendor Management: Select, hire, and supervise maintenance contractors with approval from management. They are also responsible for determining and sourcing the necessary maintenance equipment and spare parts, ensuring an up-to-date inventory. Safety & Compliance: Ensure that all electrical and automation systems meet required specifications, with a focus on safety, quality, and reliability. This also involves maintaining a safe working environment in the workshop and ensuring all tools are in safe condition. Documentation & Record Keeping: Develop and maintain plant electrical and automation maintenance programs, keep historical records of equipment maintenance, and establish a filing system for all plant equipment, suppliers, and contractors. You will also regulate the spares inventory requirements for electrical and automation equipment in consultation with the Maintenance Head and Plant Manager. What we're looking for Must be a Graduate of Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical Engineering License is an added advantage but not required Must have at least a minimum of 3 years of experience with plant electrical systems in the manufacturing industry, specifically in cement, mining, aggregates, or milling industries Experience in motors, PLC, SCADA turbines is an added advantage Why join this opportunity?
