Pollution Control/Safety Officer

Environmental Compliance:

• Monitor and ensure compliance with the Philippine Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) regulations and other applicable environmental laws. 

• Prepare and submit environmental reports and permits to government agencies. 

• Oversee pollution control facilities and the proper handling of wastewater, emissions, hazardous waste, and solid waste. 

• Occupational Safety and Health:

  • Implement and maintain safety programs to promote a safe and healthy work environment. 

  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and recommend safety solutions. 

  • Monitor the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by personnel. 

• Training and Awareness:

  • Develop and conduct training forums, toolbox talks, and other awareness programs on specific environmental, safety, and health concerns for employees. 

• Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain records of compliance, applications, and licenses. 

  • Coordinate with government agencies to obtain and renew necessary permits and certifications. 

• Program Management:

  • Develop and implement company environmental management systems and initiatives. 

  • Identify environmental impacts and recommend mitigation measures
