Website Project Manager - WFH/Remote

Join Butterfly (www.butterfly.com.au), a Melbourne-based digital agency, as a Website Project Manager. Youll lead a variety of digital projects across a diverse client portfolio, with a strong focus on WordPress websites. Were looking for someone passionate about the web, collaborative by nature, and committed to delivering exceptional outcomes. This is a full-time, long-term role with opportunities for growth.

What Youll Do:

• Manage WordPress website projects end-to-end, from concept to delivery

• Work closely with clients, designers, developers, and internal teams to scope, plan, and deliver solutions

• Develop delivery briefs, write documentation, and ensure all deliverables meet agreed scope

• Guide project teams and lead stand-ups, project planning sessions, and retrospectives

• Manage budgets, resources, risks, and timelines effectively

• Troubleshoot project challenges and resolve efficiently

What Youll Bring:

• At least 3 years experience in a digital producer or project management role (agency or client-side)

• Proven track record managing the successful delivery of WordPress website projects

• Strong organisational abilities to juggle multiple deadlines.

• Strong grasp of CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress, Wagtail)

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Skilled in estimation, planning, refinement, and release management

• ​​Budget and change/variation management

• Experience managing projects and tasks with project management tools. Jira or Teamwork experience high regarded

• Solid understanding of technical concepts (no coding required)

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Background in client-facing roles

• Strong troubleshooting skills for web and hosting issues

• Knowledge of WCAG 2.0 Level A or AA accessibility

• Experience in SEO, performance optimisation, and UX best practices

• Familiarity with Cloudways or similar hosting platforms

• Certified Scrum Master

• Paid Philippine regular holidays (or double pay if worked)
