Job Summary:

The Asst. Branch Head. Store Manager / Asst is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the retail store to ensure profitability, customer satisfaction, and a seamless shopping experience. This role involves managing staff, maintaining inventory, achieving sales targets, and ensuring adherence to company policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales and Profitability:
• Develop and execute strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Analyze sales data, identify trends, and implement action plans to improve performance.
• Monitor and control expenses to maintain profitability.
• Customer Service:
• Ensure a high standard of customer service is provided at all times.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and efficiently.
• Foster a customer-centric culture within the team.
• Team Leadership and Management:
• Recruit, train, and supervise store staff.
• Schedule and manage employee shifts to optimize productivity.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching to support staff development.
• Foster a positive and motivated work environment.
• Inventory Management:
• Oversee inventory levels and ensure accurate stock management.
• Coordinate with suppliers and the purchasing team to replenish stock as needed.
• Minimize inventory shrinkage by implementing security measures and conducting regular audits.
• Visual Merchandising:
• Ensure the store is visually appealing, clean, and organized to attract customers.
• Implement merchandising standards and promotional displays as per company guidelines.
• Compliance and Safety:
• Ensure the store complies with company policies, procedures, and local regulations.
• Conduct regular safety checks and maintain a secure shopping environment.
• Address any operational issues promptly to minimize risks.
• Reporting and Communication:
• Prepare and submit regular reports on sales, inventory, and staff performance to management.
• Communicate updates, policies, and goals to the store team effectively.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelors degree in business administration, IT or a related field is preferred.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 1-5 years of experience in a retail management role.
• Proven track record of achieving sales and operational targets.
• Solid background in corporate sales is a plus
• Handling multiple accounts is a plus
• With existing corporate clients and accountsis a plus
• Knowledgeable in government bidding is a plus
• Skills:
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficient in using retail management software and MS Office tools.
• Strong ability to balance persuasion with professionalism
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Certifications:
• Certifications in retail management or customer service are an advantage.
